Purpleline Launches Central Terminal

Solalina Mass Transport limited, a subsidiary of Solalina Investment Group of companies, has launched its mass transit division, PurpleLine and its new Central Terminal in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, offering fare-slash on all routes.

At the dedication of the new Central Terminal, located at Imiringi Road, by Tombia Round-about, on Monday 21st September, 2015, the Manager, Mr. Sokari George, said PurpleLine “is a standard transportation system that conforms to international best practices of safety and comfort, set out to redefine commuter mass transit in Nigeria”

Announcing Amassoma, Otueke and other destinations within Bayelsa State, Lagos, Abuja, Owerri, Calabar, Uyo, Warri, Benin, Calabar as some of its routes, Mr. Sokari gave promo fares for the Yenagoa/Amassoma Shuttle as N130.00 and N170.00 for air-condi -tioned buses and taxis respectively, while affirming that PurpleLine drivers were well-trained to ensure smooth driving and safe and timely arrival of passengers and cargo.

Also speaking at the occasion, Group Managing Director, (GMD) Solalina Investment Group of companies, Barrister Moses Dickson Jnr. said, “PurpleLine is a dream come – true,” assuring that “excellent travelling service is possible in Nigeria and that is what PurpleLine stands for”. He further said that PurpleLine “is only a part of Solalina Investment Group’s mission of offering effective quality delivery services through constant innovations, while creating opportunities and transforming lives”.

On his part, Pastor Elvis Obinha of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Joy of Salvation parish, Yenagoa, said it was a wise decision to dedicate the PurpleLine Central Terminal and by extension, the PurpleLine Project to God, to ensure success as a business venture, as well as protection of lives and property during its operations.
